Sully, a Colombian fashion designer, loves to make jewelry out of the natural seeds that grow in her home country. She uses her business to help women, who were victims of force displacement due to the guerilla’s groups in Colombia, by teaching them how to make jewelry.

Sully now lives in Anchorage, Alaska with her husband and continues to run her foundation from afar. She is grateful to be able to share her culture and passion with the United States.

Their jewelry is made from a seed called tagua, also known as vegetal Ivory, a special seed that is found in the rain forests of South America. The seeds are hardened by a natural drying process, then using traditional techniques they are turned into unique beads. The beads are then dyed using either vegetable or non-toxic and lead-free dyes. No two beads are ever the same due to the natural patterns of the seed, making each piece of their jewelry unique.
