AMY JOHNSON PHOTOGRAPHY

unknown_edited.jpg

Amy J. Johnson moved to Alaska alone at the age of 18 to quench her thirst for adventure and experience wilderness on an intimate level. She first settled 60 miles north of the Arctic Circle on the edge of the Gates of the Arctic National Park where she obtained her first SLR camera and developed a love for photography.
Her passion is chasing and capturing images of the Aurora Borealis. For her, viewing and photographing the Northern Lights is a spiritual experience which heightens her sense of connection to this vast universe.
